The Mikron HPM 450U 5-axis mill
This precision 5 Axis Simultaneous CNC machine is designed to provide a highly rigid and stable machining facility giving constant precision and repeatability.
This is achieved in a number of ways, including a polymer concrete machine frame, which is proven to have a greater rigidity and stiffness than machines with cast iron bodies / frames.
Other important features such as the size and spacing of the machine guideways and ceramic bearing spindle, contribute significantly to the long term high precision and geometric accuracy of the machine.
These along with the integrated laser tool measurement and component setting probe,
helps maintain the accuracy and precision of the components produced on it.
The HSK63A spindle and the auto-loading pallets system make this machine highly efficient and productive for either prototypes / 1 offs or batch production of complex components.
